Welcome to Sala Thai Street Food! We’re a family-run restaurant bringing you the bold, authentic flavors of our home. Every dish we serve is inspired by the street food we grew up with in Bangkok, the recipes passed down in our family, and the rich, vibrant flavors of Thai cuisine.
The name "Sala" comes from the traditional Thai pavilion—a place of rest, comfort, and community. That’s the experience we want to share with you: a warm, welcoming space where you can take a break, enjoy a home-cooked meal, and feel like part of our family.
Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite, picking up takeout, or sharing a meal with loved ones, we’re here to serve you with the same flavors and hospitality that shaped our childhood. From our Bangkok kitchen to your table—welcome home.
Message from the Chef
"With over 30 years of experience in the food industry, my goal has always been the same—to pour my heart and soul into every dish I create. From my time at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Jerusalem to owning and operating five restaurants in California, my passion for cooking has only grown stronger. Along the way, I’ve refined and perfected recipes that capture the true essence of Thai cuisine.
Thai food is all about balance—the perfect harmony of sweet, salty, sour, and spicy, infused with aromatic herbs and spices. There’s nothing quite like it, and it brings me joy to share these bold, authentic flavors with you.
I am proud to introduce Sala Thai Street Food—a place where you can experience the freshest, most original, street food-inspired Thai cuisine, just like we grew up eating at home. Whether you’re a longtime Thai food lover or trying it for the first time, I invite you to join us and savor the flavors of Thailand."
