WELCOME to Sala Thai Street Food. We are a family-run restaurant, providing our patrons with dine-in, take-out, delivery and catering options. The term “SALA” is derived from the word for the iconic traditional Thai pavilion, built as an area for relaxation, rest, and protection from the elements. This inspired us to create SALA Thai Street Food, an inviting environment for all our patrons wanting to take a break from their routine, unwind from their busy day, and enjoy an authentic Thai dining experience, prepared and operated by a 100% Thai chef. 

Message from the Chef

"Throughout my 30 years of experience in the food industry, I have always dedicated myself with one goal―making every single dish my best, cooking them from my heart and soul. I have experience working at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Jerusalem and have owned and operated five restaurants in California prior to moving here to Connecticut. Along my journey, I have been conducting many recipes to satisfy my passion. Thai cuisine is a balance of all flavors: sweet, salty, sour, and spicy, blended with herbs and spices like no other food, creating a great variety of unique dishes for you to savor. I pride myself introducing SALA Thai Street Food to everyone who loves or wants to try authentic, homestyle Thai food.
